Breton par Breton

L'intérêt de ce court métrage repose principalement sur le fait que les commentaires sont d'André Breton en personne. Ce qui nous met à l'abri des sempiternels poncifs et aberrations que l'on a trop coutume d'entendre dès qu'il s'agit du surréalisme. De plus, la lecture des textes est faite par Christine Boisson ce qui donne charme et beauté à ce film très classique dans sa réalisation.

This is the most interesting of the films on Andre Breton, and since it is put together by Andre Breton himself, it is definitely worth seeing. The French style of outdoors photography with the river reflections gives a sense of nature to the film, and the readings by Christine Boisson bring the poetic works of Andre Breton to life. This is a thoughtful film, and the commentary by Andre Breton reveals one of the finest poets of the 20th Century in an introspective mood.
